About

There’s no beginning or end, just short expressions, thoughts and descriptions, memories, insights, moods, lists of “awkward things,” incantations, perceptions, images and experiences–“the ebbs and and flows of reverie,” a “panharmonicon,” a modern day “Pillow Book.” My small noticings are prose poems written to stop time, and to create a sense of place using sight through word pictures.

I’m a certified Master Naturalist who writes about being rooted in a place, western New York. Publication credits include: The Writer’s Review, Quadrangle, Writing it Real, Six Sentences, Bylines Magazine, and the Buffalo News’ Poetry Page.
